We are conducting research related to several different specialist areas covering the upper and lower digestive tract, and hepato-biliary-pancreatic, breast and endocrine, and pediatric surgeries. 

Details

Digestive Surgery Group:
・  Minimally-invasive surgery including robot-assisted surgery for esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, and rectal cancer. 
・  Multidisciplinary therapy for unresectable advanced cancer.
・  Functional preservation surgery for improving QOL against Inflammatory Bowel Disease. 
Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery Group:
・  Multidisciplinary therapy for biliary tract, pancreatic and liver cancers.
・  Extensive hepatectomy and liver regeneration. 
・  Minimally-invasive surgery for liver and pancreatic cancers (laparoscopic/robot-assisted surgery).
Breast and Endocrine Surgery Group:
・  Breast cancer surgery based on sentinel lymph node identification, 3D-CT lymphography, ICG fluorescence methods, and RI combined methods. 
・  Trials to check the efficacy of treatment for bone metastasis from breast cancer using BSI.
Pediatric Surgery Group:
・  Surgery emphasizing cosmeticity and minimal invasiveness for infants.
