Shoji Hirano received the Ph. D. degree in 2001 from Himeji Institute
of Technology, Japan.
He joined in the Department of Medical
Informatics, Shimane University School of Medicine (formerly Shimane Medical
University) as a research associate in April 2001, and serves as an associate
professor in the same department since July 2005.
