Quotation about receiving the Otsuka Toshimi Foundation scholarship.

I am an international student of the Ophthalmology Department, Shimane University Faculty of Medicine. I am now in my fourth year, and I would like to express my happiness for being a recipient of the Otsuka Toshimi Foundation scholarship through independent admission. I am very happy, because this scholarship is very helpful for me who lives in Japan with my family. But after attending the certificate ceremony my happiness was even more increased because there were about 180 students from 43 different universities in Japan and from 47 different countries. It was the first time in my life that I was able to interact with so many foreign students from different countries and with different cultures. Furthermore, I would like to thank the Otsuka Toshimi Foundation for giving so much attention to international students studying in Japan ranging from financial assistance and motivation to succeed, this is a picture of the kindness of Japanese people who will always help. Last but not least, I would like to thank my supervisor Prof. Masaki Tanito for guiding me to do good research that resulted in a publication and scholarship recommendation, all of which were very helpful, thank you also to Kaidzu sensei and Sano sensei who helped me in completing the application form and interview preparation.
