In Japan, I was very lucky to meet a very wonderful professor who gave the utmost support to the Ph.D. students of his department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, both in life and in work. Therefore, I gained a lot during my Ph.D. period. My gains mainly come from three aspects. Firstly, I completed three research projects related to oral and maxillofacial surgery during my doctoral study and published some valuable articles. This made my academic level progress in leaps and bounds. Secondly, I learned highly advanced surgical and outpatient operation techniques. As an intern, I obtained a lot of new knowledge in clinical practice and tried my best to be a good doctor. Thirdly, I learned the Japanese meticulous spirit of work. Every doctor is very caring and responsible for their patients, and this spirit is worth learning for me.
   Izumo is a very quiet city. There are not many things to do for entertainment. Because of this, my heart is very quiet. Everyday life is simple and full of happiness. Without noisy disturbance, I can devote myself to my work more diligently, so that I can produce more value.
   Shimane University is a very excellent national university in Japan, especially its medical college, with very influential laboratories, such as PuRec Stem Cell Co., Ltd. and so on. And recently Shimane University and Nagasaki University succeeded in developing 14 antibodies against COVID-19. These indicate that the scientific researches of Shimane University are wonderful. In the future, Shimane University will definitely have more scientific research achievements and will train more doctors to make great contributions to society.
   If a person chooses a medical career, it means a lifetime of study, of constantly improving themselves, and improving their own technology. Therefore, if you plan to study in our school for the Ph.D. course or Master's course, you should have some mental and professional preparation. On the one hand, in the course of your Ph.D. or Master's study, you will find that the research content is very deep, which requires you to have a good basic knowledge and work hard. With only continuous accumulation, your academic level would be able to have qualitative progressing. On the other hand, when you do the experiment, you may encounter different difficulties. I hope you get ready for such mental stress. You just need to have the confidence to overcome the failure. Only in this way could you achieve the final victory.
