My most peaceful and well-concentrated years at Shimane University
Hello, I’m Tumurbaatar Tuvshintugs from Mongolia. I’m in the 4th year of the Ph.D. course at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
I belong to the endocrinology research team of the department and we are aiming to clarify the details of the female reproductive regulatory mechanism and elucidate the causes of menstrual disorder, ovulation disorder, and infertility.
My thesis work focused on the mechanisms of synthesis and secretion of reproduction regulatory hormones which belong to menstrual negative and positive feedback regulation.
I came from Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. As is often the case with a big city, there are so many problems there, such as traffic jams or air pollution. Izumo city, by contrast, is very peaceful and relaxing because it is far away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, and therefore has fewer crowds, less traffic, and cleaner air. This is an important aspect for those who are running from stress and want to focus on their education.
As we know, leading mentors and professors have a direct influence on your success. I have a brilliant mentor, Associate Prof. Haruhiko Kanasaki, who is leading me to the success of science discovery. He has taught me a lot of things that I cannot express in my words. I am always thankful to my mentor.
Through these experiences, I can say that Shimane University has many potential mentors and professors who are making a lot of scientific discoveries belonging to their fields. That is why I really hope Shimane University will have a more brilliant future in the scientific field of the world.
If you have a will to get a medical degree at the Faculty of Medicine of Shimane University, let me assure you that you are making the most correct decision because this university is probably going to impress you.
