I am honored to receive the Mishima Saiichi Memorial Foundation Research Grant
for my research titled “Roles of Ripasudil on Schlemm’s Canal Morphology in the Tissues Obtained During Trabeculectomy.”
This challenging project has the potential to bring meaningful advances in glaucoma treatment.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my supervisor Professor Masaki Tanito,
and also to Dr.Kaidzu and Dr. Aika Tsutsui for their continuous guidance and support.
As a first-year PhD student in the Department of Ophthalmology, Shimane University,
this recognition motivates me to further dedicate myself to impactful research in ophthalmology.
